We do not sell your personal data. Ever. We share data only with service providers who help run Settled:

• Clerk: Authentication and identity management
• AWS: Cloud hosting, image/video storage, content moderation (Rekognition)
• OpenAI: Content moderation and classification
• PostHog: Anonymous product analytics (with your consent)

All service providers are contractually bound to use your data only as instructed by us.

4. Data Retention

• Active accounts: data retained while your account is active
• Deleted accounts: personal data purged 30 days after deletion (grace period for recovery)
• Moderation logs: retained for 2 years
• Security logs: retained for 1 year
• Anonymous analytics: retained indefinitely (no PII linkable)

5. Your Rights

All Users

• Access: Request a copy of your data via Settings → Export My Data
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data via Settings
• Correction: Edit your profile information at any time

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

• Right to data portability (JSON export)
